Dear Potential Member,

Welcome to Alpha Xi Delta at UAB! Formal Recruitment will be held on August 23rd-25th this year and we are looking forward to meeting all of you that will participate. We are so excited and can’t wait for our New Member Class of 2016 to arrive.

Joining Alpha Xi Delta gives you the opportunity to belong to an organization where sisterhood lasts a lifetime. The bonds that we create during our college years will follow us for the rest of our lives. Alpha Xi Delta is a place to be yourself and grow as an individual and as a group of women. It’s a place to hang out with friends, attend formals and mixers, and serve the campus and the community.

Through our philanthropy, Autism Speaks, we are committed to raising autism awareness in the Birmingham community ​and improving the lives of children and families affected by autism. Our major annual event, The Flavor Run, is held in the Fall and has raised thousands of dollars to support Autism Speaks. There are so many other events that we participate in that allow you to give back, such as Into the Streets, Hands on Birmingham, Down the Alley, Mitchell’s Place, as well as other organizations’ philanthropic events.

With Such an outgoing and fun group of women, many friendships are made and each sister has her own personal growth through her experiences here in Alpha Xi Delta. We encourage you to Go Greek and feel the same pride that we feel in ourselves and UAB!
